Infra red photography - processing tutorial

Just got my KOOD r72 filter in the post - took a few photos. But when it came to processing I can't seem to get those greens (grass etc.) to be pure white in CS2 with the RAW converter. Using the eyedropper tool only seems to set neutral grey in ACR not the whites...

Can anyone tell me what their process is in doing IR photography?

I found that in an overcast day like today I'm having to use 4 seconds at f8 and ISO200 to correctly expose the image.

Had you set a Custom White Balance (CWB) or did you use AWB when taking the pics. I find CWB works best for getting foliage to look white.

I was using AWB (figured that I could change it in RAW later)...maybe I'll get a reading off the grass in the future then if that helps?

Aye, make sure you take the WB reading while the grass is in full sunlight or you'll get shades of grey anyways.
