    Hello all,

    This is the story:
I was seen this girl back in 2001, during this time i was working with a brick layer & worked very long hours some days from like 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, anyway everytime we had plans to meet up i was always working & i would have to ring her & cancel so it got to a point were i think she was thinking i was making a fool out of her. Last time we talked on the phone she told me “not to bother coming around to her” & that was the last time we talked for 6 whole years until last year that was.
So there last year i set up a BEBO account & came across her profile, added her as a friend & she accepted me, we got talking again about the old times together, then all of a sudden she says to me,

“Im starting to feel things that i dont want to be feeling, im sorry but i cant talk to you” then she says "i still feel for you & i have always thought and wondered about you & what you were doing, you know i would like noting more then to meet up with you but i cant” she said she had a boyfriend. But i dont think she is with him now cause she is living back in her old place, i do she her car parked outside every night as im passing by.

She told me when we were together that she was madly in love with me & would do anything for me. I felt the same & still do even after 7 years now, i cant stop thinking about this girl. I dont know what i should or how to go about it, i dont have her mobile number, she isnt on BEBO anymore, i know where she lives but i wouldnt go in & knock, i found her home number in the phone book the other day but again i wouldnt ring the house.

Anybody any ideas on what i should do without making an asshole out of myself?

    Thank you.
    Kind regards.

Seems to me the only way you'll make an 'asshole' of yourself is if you don't contact her and explain how you feel.

Sounds from what you say that she would be not only relieved but delighted for you to make contact again and declare your true feelings for her.

You'll regret it if you don't.

    Best of luck.

It seems a little tragic these days that people have practically everything available to them and still won't pick up a phone. Life is short mate. you've already wasted 7 good years on foolish pride. Call the house.

wooooah there nelly. She's in love with you and she's not seen you in six years?

that's dodge man. She's not happy in her relationship, and she's in love with an ideal man that the memory of you six years ago represents. It's not you.

I'm not saying don't follow up, but seriously, take it easy.

    Ring house.
    Arrange for coffee.
    Take it from there.

If she is single & you both still have feelings for each other after all this time, you'd be insane to let her slip away again. Pick up the phone.

    PICK UP THE PHONE!!!!!

Alternatively, write her a letter, you know her address! Sometimes it's so much easier to put what you feel down on paper rather than physically saying the words. Tell her you're sorry for allowing work to come between ye all those years ago, & beg her for a second chance. Yes I said beg. No girl wants to feel number 2 to a job.

Give her all your contact details & then let the final decision rest with her. If she reciprocates, get ready to make her feel like she's on the highest pedistal, to make up for what happened the first time.

    Best of luck!!

Seriously mate! Think about this, do you really wanna get to 40 years of age and be thinking 'if only'?

Even if it isn't everything you hope it'll be, anything that happens now is better than wondering.....

    good luck :)
