    Do you guys mostly put your cars away for the winter? Just wondering as we see precious few cars out on the road these days...mine have been out and about all winter....

    On the road all the time!

    Didn't buy a fancy car to leave it in a shed! *

    * If I had a shed

    Mines off the road, the windscreen is leaking and I rarely drive it in the winter, takes a while to clear the screen and start running nicely. its no fun working on the car in the cold.

    so when should I take it out again?

    Mine have been in and out most of the winter. I always try to drive a classic on a Friday if I can, puts me in good humour if it hasn't been a great week.
    Driving the 912 today, washed and polished yesterday but the rain came out to laugh at me..

    The last few weeks have been pretty kind for classics I'd have thought. That said the outlook is for a fair amount of rain one way or another.

    Mike.

    I have to judge not only if the day is dry, but if the roads are dry since the last bit of rain. no fun going out and driving on roads like the M50 roadworks and getting covered in a layer of mud spray!

    I havent used mine since last August but apart from that I use them all year 'round, just keep them clean, on top and underneath !

    The chevette and cherry are garaged always, il drive the chevette in the wet, but the cherry only sees dry road, in case it would rust out from under me:) .I keep my other cars at a friends shed.I wouldnt have them if i had to keep them outside.

    Mine seen plenty of road over the winter. Had to use the '71 GTV all over Xmas as my daily driver was knackered :D

    Apparently not too many old Alfa's in Mallow judging by the looks I got :D
