Ok to anyone in the know, mainly site owners. If you open a site and make it members only with a membership fee and then cost per skirmish will this lower insurance costs?

Why would it be any cheaper?

Maybe my brain isn't working too well due to extreme exhaustion right now, but I can't see how a member only site would lower insurance.

    Cant say it would man
You need public liability regardless because of the chance of tresspassers hurting themselves and then bringing you to court over it

Your public liability insurance cost i would say will not be effected by making it a members only club.

The only reason CTG (Cork Training Ground) is members only, is because its my home and dont want just anyone to turn up. Im not open to the genral public, im only open to Airsofters that have there own kit. Its free to join and you dont have to be from cork. Im not :)
Just wanted a register of who's who, for the safty of my family and me. I thinks thats fair. And as for insurance makes no dif, still costs to much. But you MUST have it.
Because theres allways one Boofhead in the pack. :)

:ON TOPIC: (ish) Crave if you are going down the route of setting up a private skirmish site I wish you the best of luck man and hope it works out well for you. Might be an idea to PM a mod to start a thread for you and keep us all informed on your progress.
