Go to a football match? Great place to meet new people. You could get the DART to Tara St and the walk to O'Connell St or Westmoreland St and get the 16/a over to Tolka Park, Drumcondra. Just a suggestion.;)

If your into sports , 5-a-side footy or tag rugby is a good place to meet people. Theres also social groups like The Network Club that offer a whole range of activities!

Take up Scuba Diving (Check out the scuba forum for where to do it).

Good if you have no one to go on holiday with as well, because you never feel daft going on a diving holiday on your own.

Just down the road in DL. Very friendly club, happy to have newbies out in their boats.

get to go out on destroyers, they will teach you how to sail, how to shoot, how to fight fires, and they might even pay you for it.
