    i mean the hollywoods etc etc, who started all this, was it the beauty salon crowd, or is there another reason,

    Ya, obviously from the porn industry. Us bloke annoy our gfs to try things we see in porn (we all know the main thing I'm talking about), its the natural order of things. Occassionally however, certain things cross over and become part of peer pressure.

    For example, Bridget Jones once and for all convinced all women to wear skimpy or tight undies for fear of embarrassment and similarly the Hollywood is gaining popularity because women wouldn't want to be seen as unhygienic.

    Both trends are of course, absolutely marvellous :D
