F6 study material

    So i'm finally gonna give F6 a go in June.

    Can someone recommend where to get the study material from as i'm not going to college??

    I paid 200 to get the BPP notes (homestudy course). Obviously if you know somebody else doing it that's very handy...

    Ok thanks. I was hoping it wouldn't cost that much. I have notes from a friend that did it last year but that has last years rates so I'm sure it's a good idea to use them. I presume the BPP notes are up to date with the 2008 rates?

    As far as I remember the exams were always a year behind real life when it came to rates. So in 2008 you would use 2007 rates.

    Also, the BPP notes will be changed for the relevant rates, but be aware that sometimes they miss a few. I remember being very frustrated with page one, thinking, how the hell was I going to do it on my own if I couldn't even get past page 1 without being confused, until I realised that some rate or allowance hadn't been updated.
