ntl and sky digital

    i currently subscribe to sky and ntl analogue. i am upgrading to ntl digital next week. can someone please advise me as to whether i can have both digital feeds into same tv. also, if i get ntl digital inone room do i still have analogue basic channels at the other points in the house.:)

    why do you need to have sky and ntl ? im sure u would need the 2 connections as one would be cable (ntl) and the other would be coming from the sky dish...

    Yes, though you'll need to have either SCART pass-through on one of the STBs, or a TV/VCR with more than one SCART input. Now my Pace Di4010 does have SCART pass through, but not sure if the newer (smaller) boxes do. I don't think Sky boxes have SCART pass through however if any Sky customers here wish to correct me on that one I'm open to it...

    Yes, analogue remains available on all points (until analogue switch off arrives...). NTL previously marketed this as "Multi-Room Viewing"/

    i have a new sony 32d3000 and have plenty of inputs but i presume i can use ntl and sky digital individually:)

    You can use both Feeds in 1tv as long as the TV has the scart ports to support them...So in other words 1 goes into Scart 1 and the other goes into Scart 2...Then you just switch channels to switch between them...NTL does allow other points around the house which is also a good advantage...

    Get the dish setup correctly unless you have gale force winds everytime it is windy.
