'The Wire' - now available to rent in Xtra-Vision

Just to let ye know that you can now rent boxsets of 'The Wire' seasons in Xtra-Vision.

Just picked up Season 2 in there today and yer man said I was the first one to rent them and that they only got them in the last couple of days.

I could only see Seasons 1 - 3 on the shelf. Feckers wouldn't let me rent it for 2 days though.. but a €10 for the week ain't bad I suppose.

Ye we had someone rent season 2 there the other day,first person to rent a Wire boxset. Anyone who comes up with a CSI boxset I tell them to get the wire

don't know why they wouldn't let you get it for 2 nights,that offer is still on in our stores. to be honest it was probably just some idiot who hasn't bene there long. Just tell them to hit F1 before scanning and it will go for 2 nights

I don't really mind though.. I was planning on doing a marathon session of 6 episodes over 2 nights, but at least now I can take my pace with them.

Planning on sitting down to watch Disc 1 tonight.

PS - also the five individual tiny boxes bound together by the elastic band looks so daft!
PPS - Season 4 is released on Region 2 on March 10th, so hopefully that'll be gotten soon after.

Hey I take pride in those elastic bands!

We have a huge box of them becasue no one ever actually drops the dvds back with the elastic bands! How else to keep them together? :rolleyes:

Hopefully they will get season 4 to rent as well,because IMO it is the best season so far. I already have it ordered to buy anyway
