Rent Relief

Just looking some advice on rent relief. I lived in an apartment for twelve months and was paying 800 euro a month for it. Moved out of it and I am currntly living in an apartment paying 650 a month. Have been here for 5 months. I have never got rent relief and was just wandering can I claim back for that year and a half?

As far as I'm aware you can claim rent relief going back 3 years.

Thanks, do you know what ammount Iwould be entitled back? And when I get that back doest just come out of my tax in the future?

The amount you can claim depends on the years that you are claiming for. Theres lots of info and the forms on Revenue site:

AFAIR you can claim for up to 4 years, and you will receive the refund as as cheque from the Revenue
