    Hey.

I'm using clearwire broadband with a linksys router and so far its completely unsecure. The problem is I've absolutely no idea of how to go about securing it. Also Im renting the house and the equipment isn't mine so I'm afraid to go trying anything until I'm sure its the right thing to do.

    Any Ideas???

Turn off the SSID broadcast. Turn on WPA as the encryption and use a good long passphrase (20 to 30 characters or so, no dictionary words).

You will find the manual for the linksys on www.linksys.com and that should help you set up the security.
