    Bad Atitude

Did you know he(or should I say Mr T) is is nearly 53? Doesn't look bad for that age does he?

    hehehe:

In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum-security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire ...
    The A-Team!

Da da da, da da dah, dada da da da da, da dadada dah!

Did not! I have a friend who is known as Mr T and we were talking about the real Mr T the other night, and someone asked what the BA stood for, and another guy said Bad Atitude. So Ha!

I was watching something during the week and they mentioned the A team, but I cant remember the full sentence. It went something like: "doing <blah> is like locking the A-team in an abondoned warehouse full of military surplus". Cant remember what it was on but I LOL'ed.

Don't forget the jeep/pickup/car that was chasing them (full of goons from some local mafioso/tinpot dictator/corrupt rich rancher/ or MPs) that crashed out and flipped over and it would pan back to them climbing out, coughing and spluttering. Every episode without fail, it felt like :)

Then, cue the montage of them putting some contraption together, MacGyver style, which would then save the day.

    Ahh, fond memories :)

I used to get it twice on a Saturday ;)!

    That is a double-bill of the A-Team 5.10pm UTV & 7pm RTE1, Back in the day, CLASS.

Loved the reunion a while back when yer man Justin Lee Collins from the Friday Night Project done a show for CH4 brought most of them together after almost 20yrs i think, such memories.

I read a good while ago in Empire, That the creator Glen A. Larson didnt want Dirk Benedict for both A-Team & Battlestar Galactica as he was 2nd or 3rd choice, as he "just didnt like him" was his complaint?
I mean its tongue in cheek when his name/character shows up in the start credits, he notices a Cylon walking past him & he wonders where did i see...?
I think some of that is in the reunion show, i mean whats not to like about The Faceman:p

Here are some more funny stuff:
The A-team bloopers and funny stuff
    The A-Team (Lego Style)

Wasn't there a chap from Channel 4 who reunited the members a few years ago? It was in a few parts from what I remember.

Nah, it was covered in one hour, but maybe you're thinking of the other Reunited show(s) he's done in the past like Bring Back Grange Hill etc.

BTW: It took me a while to reply, are they doin some maintenance work at the moment?

Boards is backed up for a few minutes around the 3am hour (or a couple of minutes past).

Anyway I love this show. Possibly love it more now than I did as a kid cos I can now recognise the facist attitude of the characters and the sexual deviancy of Faceman. The guy (far from being a hero) was basically a sweating rapist with a killer smile and a machine gun.

Really is a show that deserves a re-watch with an adult pair-o-eyes to appreicate on a whole other level (much like 60's Batman).

Seasons 4 and 5 are £16.89 each at Sendit.com (free delivery). Cheapest I've seen and you probably won't get it that cheap in shops anyway. I'd love to pick up the complete set. :D

Yeah,in Heatons Carlow I saw the second series for €12.45.

Apparently the "crate" casing for that complete set is junk and is about as durable as paper mache.

Doesn't affect the watching of the show of course, but it would be a slight irk looking at a broken box sitting on your shelf.
