Anyone else facing digital tv problems in D15, has been continuing3-4 days for me now, picture freezes etc.

Called to customer service today, and they had "message of the day" that they are having some problems natiowide at the moment, but this has been problem for since wednesday evening.

Should propably call to them, and speak with customer service agent.

Just called to NTL, they told me that i have wrong kind of power cord :)
Can this really cause this kind of problems, in the back of the dvr there should be place for 3 pin power cord, and i had only 2 pin's?

And why it has been working earlier...

They promised to call back to me later today, let see if i receive that call.. =)

Wrong power cord? Causing those problems?

A two pin power cord has no earth, but that's pretty common these days with modern transformers. If that is the cause of the box freezing I'd be worried.

    Must check mine.

    Problems gettin worse..

Has spoken to several times with UPC and last information today was
that they are waiting a new box and new power cord for me..

In the meantime, its getting worse and worse.
Today, i see a message, no signal etc.. i can see picture, no voice
Restarting the box helps for 3 minutes, and then its begans again.

I really love this DVR but if its not going to work, im going to change to Sky.

There is a breakdown in Blanchardstown today - Delwood / Roselawn area. Could that be why you've no signal today?

It's not the best service it has to be said. I'm in D15 and my Celtic TV has been intermittent since I signed up. UPC seem to be incapable of fixing the problem.

Have to move back to Sky. Real shame as I have the whole lot with UPC - phone, broadband and digital TV Max/sports/movies/Setanta and it's good value, but I just can't put up with having to ring support every week and get nowhere. :(
