    Hey all,

I wanted to start printing my stuff off regularly and getting them framed. What is the best size to get prints at? I want something big enough to look well on a wall..

Where do you guys get your frames and mounts? Roughly how much for A4 size framed?

Also, should it be matt or gloss finish? What looks better and why?

Size: depends on the photograph. Currently for practical reasons I'm printing a mix of 6x4s and A4s. But that's because I have my own printer. I've printed as big as 20x30 inches though.

Frames: depends. My frame suppliers of choice are a) Atlantic HomeCare, b) Woodies DIY c) TKMaxx d) Regency Frames for the very big ones

Matt or gloss: depends on your taste. I tend to the matt although some of the large ones I get done in gloss.

Size should suit you and your wall.

I prefer glossy paper and antireflex glass. Framing Fantastic in Antrim surroundings is great place to go.

one thing to bare in mind gloss prints wont last as long at the matt or even semi matt (lustre) they will change colour and fade much quicker
