    Hi all,

    After booting up i find that i can't click on the taskbar. If i try i get a warning sound. I can launch the start menu from the windows key on the key board and access it fine . Also if i start a app or open a window it shows up in the taskbar but i can't access it from there .

    Does anyone know what might cause this ? I'm running Windows XP SP2 . Also I'm using a skinning program called style XP . could that be the problem ?

    Any help would be brill
    cheers

    - Elfman

    Try disable style xp, returning to windows xp default style and see if it goes away, does sound like a error could be triggered by the theme...

    Well for one, I'd install SP3, just because of it being up to date.

    Also have you tried restarting, and have you tried restarting the Expore.exe process:

    1)Crtl+Alt+Delete
    2)Task Manager->Processes tab
    3)End Explorer.exe Process
    4)Task Manager->Run... Explore.exe
