I can't think what other programme could be in conflict. Was on the helpline for an hour yesterday and was finally told the router itself was faulty, so I toddled off to Argos and replaced it, but the new one is behaving exactly the same. At the moment am on the old Eircom Netopia modem, and have Windows XP. When I plug in the new modem the internet and wireless lights come on, but not the PPP link. Any suggestions gratefully received...not much point in ringing the helpline again I think.
