Cash Table- min and max buy ins???

Hi As regards min and max buy ins to a cash table. Say at a €1/€2 NL table the min buy in is €50 and max is €500, what happens when a player wants to reload?? if a player buys in for €300 and gets this up to €400 and wants to but more chips can he buy €500 more or would he just be allowed €100 to bring his stack up to the…

in your example , yes just 100 to bring his stack up to 500
