I personally like them, used them and have never had a problem with them.

I have a Jing Gong MP5SD5 which is a copy of the TM one. Very nice piece of kit, so I can only imagine the TM being better. Just bear in the mind that the A series are easier to find accessories for than the SDs.

That's just a muzzle cover. AEGs aren't orange tipped over here.

According to the website he has three A4s in stock.

    I have no MP SD5's.....there's 3 MP5 A4's though.

    And 1 MP5 J (Collapsible stock). I think there's a couple of MP5 SD6's too.

My mate has one. No upgrades done to it and its a beautifull piece.

Very solid and well made feeling for a plastic bodied airsoft gun.

is the silencer any use on the Jing gong ones??

It's just cosmetic, doesn't reduce the sound at all.

If you are standing to the side of the JGMP5SD5 when it is being fired there is an appreciable sound difference compared to when you are actually firing it. Seems to have a little bit of a sound dampening effect but that is about it. Sounds pretty cool though.

I had a go of the TM SD5 there last week, felt pretty solid, bit less power than the clone version, but i guess what it lacks in power it makes up for in reliability and build quality, havent tried the JG version as of yet but the mp5 a4 my mate got about a month ago lasted 2 weeks(about 400-500 bb's) before it started developing problems- the fire selector started acting up and seems to jam a bit.
Go with the TM if ya can spend a few extra euros, should be worth it in the long run.

I have a CA MP5 A5 and I have tried the TM MP5 SD6 (both collapsable stock). The CA is heavier and feels better while firing, however the TM more plastic-ee. Build quality wise, since it IS TM, it's alot better. Example would be the selecter switch. On the TM, you can actually feel the click from safe to semi to full, but on the CA, it's not as precise. Also the stock on the TM is more stable and less wobbly than the CA.
