Im new to all this PSP stuff so bare with me: I was actually thinking of getting a PSP, as theyre pretty cheap second hand, and my xbox is in repair for like a month.
A few Questions: Can you surf the net for free wirelessly, and look at sites like Youtube, Xbox.com, Ebay, this site etc. Most sites I mean.
Also, does anyone know the prices of PSP console bundles preowned or new, in Gamestop? Also is it worth getting a PSP? Does it have online play?
EDIT: Also can I put video/music/images files on a memory card and play them through the psp?

The PSP web browser is very limited in what it can view. The PSP doesn't have the memory to be a fully featured browser. Its like a PDA, Blackberry browser.
If you can find PDA editions of sites, it'll be fine.

dunno what the prices are at the moment but you should read up a bit on custom firmware, unleash the hidden power of the psp via dark alex :)

there's a few legendary games out for the psp (a lot actually) but i've found once you've done those emulation/ebooks and homebrew in general give you much more fun to play with.

i've spent many a morning bus ride watching movies/tv shows when a game isnt interestng me.

You can indeed put movies, music and pictures onto the PSP and memory cards are fairly cheap at the moment. You can do other interesting things too for example if you have a PS3 you can use Remote Play. With tis you can log into your PS3 through the internet or a wireless lan and access movies, music and video's on your PS3.
At the moment I stream music from my PS3 through my PSP and into the small amp I have in the bedroom, it's pretty cool!
