A friend has a '96 Ford Fiesta which has recently developed a problem with exhaust fumes entering the interior of the car.

She say's its only noticable when the car is stopped at lights etc, and not while driving.

I'd appricate any suggestions before she takes it to a mechanic.

Take it and get it seen to straight away, that's carbon monoxide she's breathing in and it's lethal.

+1, extremely dangerous and needs to be fixed properly.
