UPC DVR Bookmarks?

I was watching a recorded programme today on my dvr. I had it paused for a couple of minutes but when I went to play it again I hit green by mistake, this caused a message to appear saying "my bookmark set"... Does anyone know what this is?:confused:
I checked to see if it was a way of saving the current play time so you could start viewing the programme from that time in future but couldnt find any way to do this....
    Any ideas?

Out of curiosity I just tried this with a program I had recorded.
As you said when you press the green button it does indeed set a bookmark.
If you press the left or right arrow buttons either side of "OK" you can shuffle between your bookmarks.
Had a quick look at the DVR manual and it doesn't mention anything about setting bookmarks. Nice find.:)

Is that the only way to jump to a point in a recording?

Is there no way to enter a time point and just go straight to that point in the recording?

Could have sworn I tried that already but i mustn't have....

You'd think they would have this in the manual.... seems like a feature people would like to know about!
