Mick Leonard is also a top flight contender in the Featherweight division, this announcement precedes his challenge for the EFR Featherweight title. Mick has taken on all comers and is always an exciting fighter to watch.

    Tribal Warfare 2 - Redemption

Dave King is a kyoukshin Black Belt with a very strong background in Full Contact Karate. Learning ground and wrestling to turn himself into a complete fighter, Dave is returning to the ring at Tribal Warfare to fight again in front of his home crowd.

Kunall Sharma is a long time MMA practitioner who started competing recently at Cage of Truth, Kunall is a dynamic grappler and well rounded under the tutelage of Peter Lavery at Kyoujin.

Both men are returning to the ring after a loss, two heavy hitters willing to give it their all for Redemption!

    B Class Featherweight

Gary Morris is fresh off a tremendous showing at the Cage of Truth last Saturday night, a tremendous fighter he is constant pressure form start to finish.
Paul Aylemer fought to a draw in his first appearance at the inaugural Tribal Warfare, a well rounded fighter from a Taekwondo background, looking to net his first win in Full Rules MMA.

    Light Heavyweight A Class
Anders fights for the first time outside his native Sweden, where he has been building a reputation as a solid light heavyweight fighter. He has netted submission and g'n'p wins, training out of the Hilti Stable that has fighters such as David Bielkedehn, he is sure to be ready to go!

Colin Laird has been steadily improving over the years to the point where his ground game is one of the best in the Irish LHW division. Colin is determined to stop Hansson's foray into Ireland in its tracks and get himself moving higher in the Irish Pro Ranks.

Denis "Dynamite" Dalton - Strange Wolves vs Vladimir Denisov - Sligo

This Light-heavyweight match up features the return to the ring of the Strange Wolf striking sensation Denis Dalton, after an unsuccessful debut at the inaugural Tribal Warfare Denis has changed his training to include more ground, and brought in some stand up sparring partners including a pro boxer to get him ready for his next encounter. His opponent is no pushover and is making an eagerly awaited debut after dominating the rookie and veteran MMA League middleweight divisions respectively. Vladimir has extremely fast take downs and nobody has been able to get out from underneath his iron coffin top game. on the 13th of April will Denis be buried alive? Or will Vladimir be blown up by Denis TNT KO power? Either way this one is going to Rock the Black Box!

Keith Norton - SBG vs David Nicoll - Strange Wolves

    Lightweight B Class

A favourite with the Galway crowd, Keith Norton makes his return to Tribal Warfare, currently on a 2 fight win streak, his last performance showed the improvements he has been making. This always cool, always dangerous grappler is comfortable in all ranges and can finish the fight on a moments notice. His opponent, fighting out of the Strange Wolves gym in Galway, by way of New Zealand, is a BJJ Purple belt, back after a lay off he makes his MMA debut in Galway, where he has made his home.

Two top class grapplers duke it out in the Lightweight division, don't miss it!

Alan "The Cannon" Hannon vs John "Smut" Smith
    A Class Lightweight

Alan is coming off the back of his first MMA Draw result at the last EFR against a game Darrin Hughes, Alan demonstrated tremendous composure and ability in all ranges. His cool head while on his back on the ground and the ease with which he defended the first round G'n'P attempts of the Sudden Impact standout turned a lot of heads at the Elk, and this is of particular relevance to his opponent at Tribal Warfare, who has made his name putting the G'n'P hurt on fighters he has faced!

Jonny "Smut" Smith, formerly of Chum Sut, now training in his own gym Elite 400, is a very capable wrestler and more than a match for any fighter he has faced on his feet. He always comes to the ring ready to put on a show and never stops until the ref pulls him off or the bell rings.
These two dynamic warriors going at it is bound to be a barn burner!

Adam Slawinski - Kilkenny Top Pro vs Mattcheck Tomas - Strange Wolves
    Lightweight B Class

Adam Slawinski, the Baltic Warrior, returns to the ring still seeking his first win and hungrier than ever. He has had a disappointing debut in Irish MMA, but there is no doubting his ability in all ranges. A former MMA League Champion Adam has bags of wrestling and striking ability, matched, perhaps, by his opponent Mattcheck, training with the King of Galway Greco, Vinny Conolly has surely imparted even more clinch to an already skilled competitor. Mattcheck has excellent ground and has been working on his striking since arriving in Galway.
Whoever wins in the clinch could easily be the fighter taking home the win between these two evenly matched gladiators.

    Alan Loughran vs Ramunas Venslovas
    Welterweight B Class

This welterweight match up is bound to be an exciting tilt, as you couldn't find a greater clash of styles anywhere!
Ramunas, training the Mynooth MMA club is a talented wrestler and ground technician, blazing through his opponents in the MMA league last year all by submission wins.
Alan, having a slight edge in in-ring experience being 1 - 1, is very much a stand up fighter, and has shown how hard he hits every time he steps into the ring.
Its a traditional striker vs grappler match up, place your bets!

    B Class Middleweight
Stef Cinelli, Spartan MMA League standout makes his first foray into the octagon at Tribal Warfare, Stef brings a well rounded game to this match as he always looks comfortable in all levels.
His opponent is a more recent arrival in amateur MMA but has had several ring matches in full contact kickboxing where he began his training. Ray is a strong, aggressive fight and sets a high pace.

Looking forward to seeing these two talented first timers bang it out on the 13th of April

Diarmuid O'Riardan - Point Blank vs Donal Tynan - Limerick Pankration
    Welterweight C Class

One of two C class matches on the Tribal Warfare "Redemption" Card, this match features two first timers. Both have gained experience in the League at amateur level and have the skill to take it to the next level.

Diarmuid fighting out of Galway by way of Cork is a strong wrestler who took to MMA like a barracuda to water. He packs a lot of strength on to a welterweight frame, that belies his quickness and balance. Diarmuid can be a handful for any opponent.

Donal, fighting out of Pankration is well able for anything thrown at him on the mat, and holds a submission win in the league. He throws heavy leather and fighting at a level where head shots are included on the feet will suit him well.

Two more Ultimate Fighters making their debuts in the Black Box!

    Lightweight C Class

Dave McNamara fights out of Limerick Pankration and is a well rounded Mixed Martial Artist looking forward to cutting his teeth in the full rules ring in Galway.

Daniel is a long time league veteran and has a very dangerous, attacking top game on the floor. Complemented nicely by his aggresive clinch Danial tends to keep moving his submission game plan forward relentlessly much like how I'd imagine a terminator robot would if they were allowed to enter MMA.

Has Daniel been sent back in time to stop Dave's progress into the future of MMA? Will Dave strike a blow for the human resistance? Tribal Warfare 2 - Don't miss it!

Michael Devlin - Donegal Jiu Jitsu vs Ger Coady - Kilkenny Top Pro
    Featherweight B Class

Michael Devlin shut up all his doubters when he went from fighting Amateur level to facing the former EFR featherweight champion at the first Ultimate Conflict and acquitting himself admirably. He is returning to the cage at Tribal Warfare to continue his auspicious first foray in the world of Ultimate Fighting. Michael is a demon on the ground and his submissions come with inexorable certainty.

Standing across the octagon from Michael will be Kilkenny Kickboxing standout Ger Coady, Ger has been inside the squared circle a number of times before and holds knockout victories to his credit. Ger firmly believes his Right Cross holds the secret to Michaels undoing.

Submission vs KO - this one's not going the distance!

I remember you mentioned something about bad joke repellent in another thread. If that stuff really exists you should start selling it in the gym, you'd make a bleedin fortune :p

There will be alright, the last event was sold out before the first fight started however so don't leave it to late to arrive at the venue.

Anyone traveling to the event as spectators, to avoid disappointment on the door you can reserve tickets ahead of time by emailing sales[at] tribalwarfare [dot] ie and giving your contact information and how many tickets you wish to reserve. It is important that if this reservation changes that you notify the Sales Department immediately so they can release your tickets back into the general pool.

    Middleweight A Class
Tom'ahawk' Haddock EFR/Point Blank vs Faycao Hussin - French Top Team

Tom Haddock returns to the Black Box this Sunday to face FTT up and comer Faycao Hussin. Faycao has a string of domestic wins and is making his second foray into international territory for this match up. A talented grappler and one of the FTTs Next Big Things, Faycao always brings his A game.

Facing a veteran like Tom, he may very well have to. Tom Haddock well remembers when HE was the next big thing, and now he has cemented his name as a top flight fighter in this country, his rapidly rising celebrity in the UK is proof of his ability, most recently demonstrated a tthe last EFR with his decisive dispatching of the Czech Gladiator.

Promise meets Experience in the Cage at Tribal Warfare!

think I saw michael fighting before in derry... The fella he was fighting was over 10kg heavier than him but he still put up a good fight losing by a painful looking kimura in the second round. Heading up to galway now should be a gud day out!
