Things to do in Cork

I have just moved to cork and can see that it is a lovely city but I am wondering what there is to do? Any advice would be appreciated as I don't know many peoples here.

Hi Shelly,

I have just recently returned from Australia so my information my be a little out-of-date.
There is lots to do in Cork though: Cinema, Theatre, Bowling, Pubs, Night Clubs. If you are looking for tourist things to do there is Blarney and you can head to West Cork and Kerry for beautiful scenery. Also visit Kinsale which is a lovely little town.

I have recently come across a good website for seeing attractions in the various towns in Ireland - www.google.ie

If you have any questions please ask and I'll do my best for you.

Garry, I have just looked at www.google.ie - It looks like a cool website but doesn't seem to cover the City yet though. I will definitely look at it again if I go outside of the city though.
