    hi guys

i dont know if this is the right forum or not, wondering if ye could gimme some guidance

Im looking to buy a camera for the parents, was probably gonna get a 7Mp. they wouldnt be the most technically minded so doesnt have to have the best features, but a fairly big screen at teh back would be handy. I also was looking to get a photo printer, this would be handy for them. Can anyone recommend one of these, some thing that is easy to use and also not too expensive when it comes to ink and photos.

Would it be best to keep to the same make, like in a bundle or does it matter?

    thanks for any replies

My personal opinion would be that you should buy them a decent camera, a couple of memory cards and get the photos printed online or at a local chemist/photo shop. Consumables for decent quality printers are expensive.

hiya, i bought a kodak, point and zoom, 7mp as a gift for somebody a few months ago, great pics from it i must say, fairly easy to use, but batteries dont last long at all, cant remember the model, but i got it from ebay, posted from japan or hongkong, it was actually a factory refurbished, but looked and felt brand new, i think it cost about €100 inc postage, which was ok, and most printers now will print fairly decent pics without the need for a computer, and you can buy fairly cheap ink, not original, but for your parents i think it will be more than adequet. i'd recomend searching ebay and getting the best deal you can, but anything from canon, fuji, kodak, etc will give verruny accepable prints. i think for about €200 you should have more than enough for everything, ohh and try get something with a rechargeable li-ion battery, much cheaper in the long
