Multiroom HD

Just wondering if anyone has ever tried Sky on this one.

I have HD, and also Sky+ on the multiroon deal - so I'm paying two monthly supplements on top of the premium package.

If I wanted to change the Sky+ to another HD, ie have multiroom HD, would they look for the HD €15 twice, in addition to the multiroom charge - or is it worth trying to cut a deal?

I was just looking into this very thing.

I too have HD in one room, standard Sky+ in another. A friend offered me his Sky HD box for 100 euros as he's emigrating. As i have a 42" Panasonic using the SKy+ I figured it was worth buying to get some HD content on the TV. I took the box and then called to have it paired to the card, but they want another 15 euros for the second HD box.

I thought the point of Multiroom was that it was a clone of your main box and therefore the HD would be included, but apparently not. I wonder is this breach of contract in any way?

Get the hd box paired to your card anyway and avail of its sky plus features for the extra recording space on the HD box...I didnt think you'd have to pay for a second hd sub seems a little bit much to me, program in bbc hd into your other channels as this is a fta channel

    Press services
    press 4
    press 4
    input the following
    10847v 22000 5/6

You need a HD sub of €15 on each box on the same account to avail of the HD channels, so if you have 3 HD boxes and want to view HD channels on all them you need 3 HD subs of €15 each per month.
