Downloaded trial last night (all 13mb of it!) and really enjoyed playing this on the big screen. But with it coming out on the DS in a couple of months (not to mention it being free on the PC), is it really worth splashing out 800 points on it?

I think 400 would have been closer to the mark.

Great game though.... So tempted.

But it will probably be ~€40 on the DS.
Geometry Wars Evolved is that much in bricks and mortar shops.

I play my DS more than my 360 (at least twice as much), so I might get better mileage out of the DS version. However, playing it on the big screen is really nice....

little game? i wouldnt judge a game by its mbs or gbs, i knew pretty much nothing about this game when i both it the other day and the hours i've already put in make it easily worth the money.

Yeah I forked out for it on Friday... great fun to play. You can look at global leaderboards for all levels, and look at the replays for the top scores. There are some people out there with crazy skills....
