    Hi Folks

I received planning permission from my local council in August, 3rd party appealed the decision to an Bord Pleanala in early September

Bord pleanala decision was due early January, received a letter saying delayed unti mid February due to backlog, now today another delay advising me decision wont be until early April.
That will make the wait approx 9 months for an answer

I presume i am forced to just sit and wait. ?
Its like a dream to me someone mentioned before that Bord Pleanala had to finish a review within a set guideline ?

Thanks a lot for any opinions or help

Yes you will have to wait. ABP do not have any statutory timescale in which to process an appeal. They did however set a target time of 4 months but thats merely an estimated time and they are not legally obliged to honour it.
