Wii Twilight Princess Hack

I'm very surprised nobody has posted about this yet. An exploit has been found in ZTP saves that allows basic homebrew to be run. So far a tetris game has been released but give it a few weeks and I'm sure there'll be quite a few cool wii homebrew apps. Your wii doesn't need to be chipped for this to work either, all you need is an sd card.

Yeah i've been watching the progress. I have TP for the wii but i haven't tried it out yet. I'm waiting for something serious to come out of it

I'm don't know if a wii update could kill it off because it takes advantage of TP and not the wii firmware, I'm more than likely wrong though.

I'm fairly sure it'll be impossomble to run backups through this obviously, so that's the whole illegal aspect of it gone. It's not illegal/doesn't void your warranty if you run homebrew if you're not modifying any part of the console I think.

Any chance of it screwing up your Wii or TP? Are there any security issues?
Is the tetris any good, like the gameboy version?

I'll keep an eye, dunno if I'd use it yet.

Where did you read that?

"Nintendo have released system update Wii Menu 3.2 across all regions. It does not appear to affect current exploits. Details in Homebrew status"
