if i pre order MGS4 on play.com will i recieve it on release day?

is there any site i can order from and get it on release?

I've found that play typically lags behind release day by a day or two. I got my UT3 (for PC) two days after release day. Got 2K4 the day after release day iirc.

I'm in the same boat as yourself. I have both GTA4 and MGS4 pre-ordered on PLAY.

I doubt very much we'll get them on release day, but I'm not too bothered. Only reason I pre-ordered with them was it was cheaper than in the local store.

If you preordered on Play because it is cheaper then I would suggest you look elsewhere on the internet. It can be gotten much cheaper.

I know it can be gotten cheaper but I never seem to experience problems with PLAY's service so I tend to stick with them when possible.

[Though its kind of annoying the way they still don't have Oblivion: GOTY Edition in stock!]

It boils down to what you want more. The game on day one or a deal on the purchase price.
If you want to guarantee it on day one you should just slap the extra cash down in game or gamestop.

If you want a deal order it online. For a game that big you might get it delivered on launch day but dont be surprised if you dont

Play tend to ship a day or so before the release day, but it usually takes about a week to get here at least.
Whatever you do, don't pre-order anything you want in the same month as its released from CD WOW.
