Getting to Sumatra

Hi all
Am heading to Thailand and Malaysia for just over a month. We are starting from North Thailand (Chiang Mai) and working our way down, leaving from Kuala Lumpar. We were hoping to go to Sumatra at some point to see some of the jungle. Does anyone know how easy this is and where's the best place to see the tigers and orangutans!? Any tips would be great!

Don't know where all the wildlife are but you can fly from Kuala Lumpur to numerous places in Sumatra with www.airasia.com

Usually pretty cheap.

You should also check out Borneo for wildlife. It's a large island shared between Indonesia and Malaysia and Brunei and is famous for Orang Utans and all sorts.

Not sure about flights to there though.

Edit: Just checked, you can fly to Borneo with Airasia.com too. And they fly to 4 well-spread out cities on Sumatra.
