I'm thinking of picking up one of these this weekend, but I'm a bit concerned about getting mp3's onto it. Any players I've owned in the past, I just connect them up via USB and they act like an external h/d (they all come with their own software, but I can't be bothered installing it, and this method hasn't failed me so far), but Sony have always been a big of a bugger with getting music onto their various drives (Soundstage or something, was it?). Argos state that it comes with
CD-ROM with Windows Media Player 11 and MP3 conversion tools
and I'm hoping that doesn't mean that I can't just treat the player like an external drive and quickly drag'n'drop mp3's to it at will?

you can drag and drop. Its really easy to use.
Using Media Player to sync files onto it is quite easy as well, but if you dont want to do that, dragging and dropping is fine.
