Ireland will play the Barbarians on the 27th May at Kingsholm, Gloucester to warm up for the tour to NZ. Should be a Good day out and an opportunity to visit one of the best union grounds in England

That'll be pretty interesting but I still can't believe the president of the Barbarians is called Micky Steele-Bodger :D

The Ba-Ba's against South Africa a while back was a great game, really enjoyed that one.

Our boys also need at least one game before going down under if we're to make a decent fist of it.

Ireland will be the first international rugby team to appear at Stamford Bridge for more than 100 years, with Chelsea the venue for their end-of-season match against the Barbarians.

The ground-breaking game, scheduled for Sunday, May 25, will be the first at the stadium since the pioneering All Blacks beat Middlesex there in 1905 during the early stages of their first British Isles tour.

There had been speculation suggesting Chelsea's Stamford Bridge ground would have staged the match, which will serve as a warm-up for Ireland prior to their summer tour of New Zealand and Australia.

I think it was 2000 in Lansdowne Road and we got beaten 31-30. Before that it was 1996 and I don't know what the score in that was

My first live rugby game actually - i was 13. We'd have won as well, if it wasn't for Neil Jenkins.
