Halibut is none of the mentioned players, but he is a great player. He posts here occassionally.

I don't know who whitehorse 55 is, but no-one who knows who it is, is allowed to out that person unless it's common knowledge or that person allows his name to be released.

I won't lock the thread incase there's anything else people want to discuss relating to High Stakes Omaha or what not, but no-one is to out players without their permission. It's an unwritten rule around here. We protect the aliases of players who want their aliases protected.

halibut2 posts here occasionally and is from Ireland

Whitehorse is a mystery man, I have heard some conjecture that it may actually be Phil Laak.

Id say its more of an unwritten rule in general, anonymity is a very useful tool in online high stakes games, i know if i was phil laak playin under a different name id be doin it for a reason

I think the unwritten rule is we don't out our mates. You can badmouth and speculate about anyone I don't know personally.

It also applies to High Stakes Irish players, a few have contacted me after being outed in various threads in the past asking for their names to be removed and hence why the rule exists, there's not too many of them around.

If it's a non-Irish person or some "name pro" people want to speculate about work away, but if you know for a fact that the person is a relatively unknown High Stakes player that doesn't want their identity known, don't out them here, or PM me if someone else outs them and I'll edit the post and lock the thread as appropriate.

Also micko10, I knew you wouldn't know the unwritten rule hence why I told you of it and gave you some leeway.
