Even more Fun on the horizon this week as Resident DJ and Acii founder Al Keegan steps up to the plate for his first 2 hour set in Traffic. And with a gap of over 4 months the new music has been piling up so expect lots of new and very tasty treats! Joining him on the night is mild mannered messer Giles K (Jack It).

Many thanks to all in attendance last week, was quieter than usual in the club but the atmosphere was top notch, special shout to Lyonsey for his bad ass mc skillz at the end! Good show old boy!

To win guestlist this week simply name one track from AciiTone DiGital

Dublin’s newest Digital based label AciiTone Digital will showcase its many talents March 1st at Dublin’s Acii Disco @ Traffic. Middle Abbey St. With artists Indo Phunque, Matador, Timmy Stewart and Sourcecode all under one low roof it’s sure to be a very memorable night of fresh new homegrown music. It has been a busy 6 months for Al Keegan, Gavin Lynch and Russell Cooley who are the men behind the AciiTone project. With the label comprising of three sub-labels – Red. Green and Blue and each offering a slightly different slant on electronic music you may find it hard to put AciiTone into any one box. The Red label focuses on deeper sounds while the Green has peak time club action in mind, while the Blue label delves deep into the more experimental / acoustic side of things. A truly fresh idea that will ensure that quality no matter what style can prevail.

Also in March AciiTone Digital releases the second track from the Green label, and its one that has been eagerly anticipated by revellers everywhere, the mighty Sourcecode’s – Mckenna. It’s the fourth release by AciiTone in only four months and with such consistency it’s only a matter of time before they can hold their own among bigger labels. The package includes a remix from Dublin’s Matador and Belfast Duo Sinister Industry who serve up a glitched out fidget bomb. It has been gaining much support from all corners of the globe and is one that’s sure to turn some heads. Other releases out now include tracks and remixes by – Matador. Timmy Stewart. Perc and Sourcecode. With Forthcoming tracks and remixes from heavy hitters – Jet Project. Lutzenkirchen. Djamel. Kriece. Rory Hyland. Al Keegan. Milton Jackson and more it’s defiantly one to watch for 2008.
