    Restricted List Applies to Archery.
From the 1 May it will harder to obtain a Crossbow for whatever reason.. You will be no longer able to apply for such a device through you local superintendent.. From the first of May you will have to apply through the Garda Commisioner... I am not sure if this will hold any additional household security measures for firearms which are to be considered restricted..
    Happy shootage..;)

DeVor is hosting a thread in which board members can ask the DOJ (dept. of justice) Questions about the restricted list.. if you are concerned that the xbow is going to become restricted from May 1st and are wondering as i am how a device which was only added to the firearm list in 1990 has been elevated to such a status as to make it restricted, then this is your opportunity to voice those concerns and questions to the DOJ. this will only make it more difficult for club member to obtain xbows in the furture..It seems crazy that a person can obtain a 7.62mm rifle capable of killing an animal at 2000yards and this is un-restricted.. Whats going on??, post your questions in the shooting forum....
