    Is it hard to find an old fashioned Honda 50 these days < and if so are they expensive

    yeah honda 50s have become quite collectable over the last 2 years & are going for alot of money (1500 for a decent one)

    I agree its funny if you think about it that just five years or so ago they were worth a quarter that.

    But it depends on what year roughly you want. I have a few knockin around. They need a bit of TLC but they all run well.
    If ya let me know what year, condition. I could give you an idea of the price

    If you can get a very good one they are still excellent value for money with spares still availible and a good choice compared to the scooter rubbish that is marketed today. The very early ones had pushrod engines and spares would be more difficult to come across.

    the Honda 50 is still made ! they passed the 50 million mark 2 years ago and now they even have fuel injection. http://thekneeslider.com/archives/2008/02/13/honda-super-cub-gets-electronic-fuel-injection/

    Its green and horrible looking and has all the modern electronic fuel injection gizzmos! ie you would need a computer to service it :eek:

    going by Hondas usual standards it is probably easier to service than ever. they had PGMFI back in 1984 on the CRX so i think the technology is'nt exactly new :D my first bike was a pushrod Honda 50 but my brothers had NSU Quickly's :eek: they were like sewing machines http://www.nsu-quickly.de/english/index1.html
