    hi folks ,
ive been trying for nearly a week to get my setup working and its not killing me so i would really appreciate any help at all.

basically im trying to setup MCE with irish EPG with offiicial Microsoft support.
i dont want to use a work around like quickguide with xmltv.

i have win XP SP2 with MCE rollup 2 installed but when i ever i go in tv guide set up and select my country as ireland,i get an error saying that my locations is not supported with my card.

at the moment im usuing a DVB-C card and i know MCE does not support DVB-C but i have a workaround that lets me watch NTL digital in MCE via mytheatre.

before i got my DVB-C card i use to have a pinacle DVB-T card and i had it setup perfectly with the NTL seyup box.

i just went in setup and selected Ireland and then downloaded a guide for NTL digital and all was perfect.

but then i wiped my computer to built it from scratch and i have not been able to set this up ever since.

im thinking maybe there is additional updates for MCE that i need to install to enable the EPG for ireland.

any help at all would be really appreciate it as ive searched and have found no solution yet.

    many thanks in advance.

you cant use dvb-c in mce,
you most definitely cannot legally use a dvb-c card with mce
