best place to buy laptops in DUBLIN? [confused]

    i am college student looking to buy a laptop, im looking for info on what are the best laptops around at the minute and for good prices?

    i will only really need it for internet,music,watching dvds,photos and college work..so nothing too high tech

    i like the dell inspiron range but i dont understand all the extras they state on their website at all really..to many choices i know nothing about to be made. :confused:

    if i could spend 400 to 500 euro that would be great but im willing to stretchto 650 to 750/800. euro.

    also, wheres the best place to buy in dublin?????????

    If you want a dell go with this, upgrade the battery to a 6 cell for an extra tenner and then don't change any other options. It'll be fine for what you want it for. It's €330 excluding vat and delivery so it should be well within your budget.

    If you want to buy it in a shop then I've heard good things about the laptop shop.

    +1 for The Laptop Shop, seem to be a friendly bunch and have quite the selection. Also we have to inevitably mention...PC World...if you looking for brick and mortar stores.
