ipod playcount to itunes

I'm trying to sync itunes playcount data up to my itunes. Is this possible? All the music is on my pc but I'v lost all my playlists playcounts etc. And i know if i automatically sync the ipod all that info will be wipedfrom it, gone forever. Help!!!
