    Hi,

Can anyone recommend a campsite in South of France, either Atlantic or Med coast. I've searched and cant find any site that meets requirements below:

    Music must stop before midnight.
Beside or within 20 min drive of beach or lake.
Good standard of hygiene and supervision at pools.
Good restaurant on site and decent ones off site within 20 min drive.
    Clean mobile home.

Our children are 7 & 5. Organised clubs are not important but some other english speaking children are (how times change post kids).

BBQ would be nice but not essential and an Aer Lingus airport within 2 hour drive.

    Thanks.

    Hi granturismo...

There are two fantastic sites I know of that fit the bill -

    Camping Les Sablons: http://www.les-sablons.com/camping/accueil.html

    and

    Camping Le Serignan Plage: http://www.yellohvillage.com/en/serignan-plage/home/camping-serignan_14178_18.html

Both are excellently run, clean and family friendly.

Both on the beach on the Med and are a 1 hour drive from Carcisson airport (Ryanair from Dublin) or a 2 hours drive from Toulouse airport (Aer Lingus from Dublin).

There is the lovely medieval town of Agde only about a 45 min drive away and the super fun water park at Cape D'agde a further 10 min drive.

Was here last year and just about to book again for this.

Fantastic setup, there are two sites across the road from each other, La Sirene is quite hectic suitable for teenagers as well as the smaller ones, Le Hippocampe much quieter.

There's a mini train system that links the sites with the beach and town, you can leave the car behind and have a few drinks with your meal if thats you thing.

More info on the area here

Villain- we had discounted Les Sablons because we wanted to try a 4star site this year but found some good reviews at the weekend. We're going to book something this week and this site is looking good.

NILHG - we stayed in Canet Plage last year, our first 'campsite' holiday and wanted to try a different area but if campsites that we've narrowed down are booked, Le Hippocampe looks good especially because the beaches in this area are good and we would love any excuse to go back to Coulliere and Ceret.

The music in Canet Plage went on too late and supervision in the pools wasnt the best, everything else was suited us there.

Thanks to both of you, this really helps.
