Pricing/Financial Services salaries?

I've been working as a pricing co-ordinator for a large multinational american company (non-financial) for nearly 1.5 years now and I'm wondering what kind of salary expectations I should have if I went into the financial services sector.

I'm on 26k right now, after being offered permanency after 6 months. From talking to my colleagues, that seems like a low end scale for a pricing role. It also seems that there is a lack of experienced pricing people out there.

I think that if I left now I could easily get 30k ish if I went elsewhere, at least with my experience.

Does anyone have any experience in this field that could confirm this?

And if I went into the financial services sector - does it generally pay well?
