    Is it easy to set up for home use?
    I'm on an Eircom 3 meg line, will i problems with caps and stuff?

    Are you talking about setting up a server on your home system? You'd want to review your T&Cs to make sure you're not in breach of contract, and to make sure that they'll allow inbound FTP connections in the first place. If both of these conditions are satisfied, then I'd still keep an eye on the bandwidth use, just in case you do run into cap issues (although if it's a DSL link, you're probably not going to have enough upstream bandwidth for this to be much of a concern).

    yup

    Easy just install IIS and configure where the folder should be using IIS manager.
    then go to your Eircom router and add your IP to the pin hole rule for port 21

    any problems let me know.
