i recently bought a house that has an eircom phonewatch alarm system fitted and was wondering does anyone know how to change the code as i'm using the same code as the previous owner
the reason i don't want to contact eircom for this information is because they expect me to subscribe to the phonewatch facility which i think is a total rip off. the alarm works perfectly well as a seperate unit

what type of system is it? wirefree or wired.
the wired would usuually be a hkc system and the two types of wire free are the simon and concord systems. the previous owner would have a code which is used to enter the programming menu if you have any old paperwork from the system it would be on that.
