Anyone here doing Classical Studies? I'm doing these topics:
Greek Drama - Medea & Oedipus
    Epic - Aeneid & Odyssey
    Alexander the Great
    Greek Art & Architecture

It's a really interesting subject - but a complete headwrecker for doing exams on :D

Have my mock in it tomorrow... Anyone else doing it this year?

i did classics for the leaving cert and got my A. its easy, its like little stories. when i did it i did,

greek drama: Prometheus bound, medea and Oedipus
    History: Peloponnesian War
    philosophy: the republic
    Writers of the Augustan age

I've continued on into Arts with it and have gotten straight As since 1st year (in final year now).
seriously, if any of you are planning to do arts, do classics, i've redone all of my old course again and its been a major help, my class mates are literally green. it means i have more time to focus on psychology :)

So far we only have the following covered.

    Alexander the great.
    Poetry - Horace, Ovid, Propertius.
    Plato - The Republic.

Still have to do art and architecture.

    Anyone got notes on
    Alexander
    Philosopher
    Greek Drama?

I'm waiting to choose my fourth one...it was going to be Epic but the big words are very daunting...
