Airline changes flight times after booking tickets

I booked a charter flight with a UK company. I'm due to leave March 8. The original time was 2pm. They have now changed this to 11am. This means that the flight that I booked to connect is not going to meet it. I realise the fact that I booked a seperate flight doesn't matter in their eyes but what are general rights here. They are offering nothing in the letter - just apologising for the inconvenience - what a load of boll1x.

You don't really have many to be honest. This is the risk you take when making such bookings unfortunately.

point taken... well the original transfer time of 2 hours for flight not being late, waiting for bags etc and re-checkin for charter to the carribean was gonna be tight so that's the only bright-side coming out of the fact that we had to pay for changing our Aer Fungus connection to the evening before and book a hotel near Gatwick...
