Is Pain available and if so, how do I get it?

I was just wondering if Pain was released (the game, not the sensation, before someone makes a joke). I thought it was out ages ago, but I can't find it anywhere on the PS3 store.

It's on the US store. Not sure if it's getting released here or if we can access it there.

You can sign up an account which is how I know it's there, but you can't buy games using a European credit card.

You may be one of the lucky ones. Much like with the region-specific iTunes stores, many credit cards are denied based on the billing address. Besides this, the use of a foreign PSN account is a violation of several parts of the PSN terms of service. Generally they seem slow to enforce those rules but adding a credit card number is pretty cast iron proof of your identity (and your main PSN account) and could see you run into some trouble if Sony decide their TOS and export policies are more important than the few dollars you're throwing them. For the sake of a couple of weeks, I'd sooner wait.

Very very true. Sony are very sensitive to grey importing online or off. Lik Sang got shut down because of it. Play-Asia wont ship PS3 games to Europe but will ship the exact same game for the 360 anywhere in the world. Sony have a sweet deal in europe and are going to milk it hard
