    Anyone read this lately ?

Seemingly there has been very little sunspot activity for the last month and a half. Some scientists believe that this might show the start of another Maunder Minimum.

The last time this happened, tempreatures everywhere fell by a degree celcius or more.

Whats the liklihood of this actually happening again ?

It would only mean that Ireland would return to average. We have warmed by over 1c on this Island over the last 100 years or so.
