Looking for a source for a Pioneer DVR-K12DVA CD\DVD combo drive for a Sony Vaio Laptop Model: PCG – GRT816S PCG – 8N2M

Maybe someone might know of any repair\breaker shops that might have one?

No Rory, I don't think so.

It is for a PCG-K model & mine is a PCG-G.

I'm not too sure what the story is with these drives, as they can be detached from the bezel & plastic caddy quite easily.

I wonder if anyone knows if different models might fit my existing caddy?
