    I'm thinking of buying a 9 cell battery, but just wondering how many hours it will last if i was playing a game on it or how it should last when fully charged. I have the orginal battery i got with a Insprion 1501 which i think is a 6 cell.

    i have this battery with my inspirion 6400 which i got in august/early sept. It is a fantastic battery. When fully charged on full light i get 4hrs 30min but this is only because i use my laptop mostly for word-processing applications. In relation to gaming i cannot answer you question but i would recommend the battery to anyone. I have not noticed any decline in my battery since i purchased it. If you were only typing on your laptop or browsing the internet and if you were to switch it down to a lower light function you can potentially get 7hrs 30mins out of it.
