In the past 24 hours my phone hasn't been able to send messages. Anytime I try to send an SMS an alert tells me an error has occured when tring to send the message. My network is O2 and I have full signal when sending the message:confused:. I can't put my sim in my old phone as it doesn't recognise the simcard.
It doesn't happen when I make calls. If anyone could give me any info I'd really appreciate it is I need to sort it asap

What version are you on? Have you installed iworld? Are you using an xsim?

It's the latest version and iworld has been installed. They used my sim from my old phone and modified it. It was working fine for the past 2 weeks until last night the only thing I changed before it stopped working was the timezone from the USA to Dublin but I don't see why that would have an effect but even when I change it back it doesn't work:confused:

Why was the sim modified? Try looking at the following sites, iphone.unlock.no and www.iclarified.com I have found them to be the best of the sites, but others might have some better. But can you tell me how they modified the sim and why?

just found this, it might help you:

From what I can tell they used my old o2 sim and semed to have attached a chip/plate (gold/orange) on to it which apparently unlocks it and enables it to work in Ireland. I can access everything else and get into my contacts it just won't let me send messages. I used the iworld function and set it to ireland but it hasn't made a difference and the phone memory etc is fine

It is a file that gets corrupted it may happen again it is just a matter of SSHing into the phone and deleting the corrupt file and the iphone will create a new one to replace it.
